I saw those Firestone Destination M/T's at the college a couple months ago. Good looking tire.

Fuel Pump decided to go out the other day so had to be replaced.
Previous one had lifetime warranty so new one was free. ;)

Really good performer too, got a chance to take em out in the mud today and try em out.......a lot better there than the Cooper STTs and the Toyo M/T. In thick sloppy stuff, in 2WD I was able to just turn and point the truck where I wanted it to go.....it'd crawl out of foot-deep ruts in the front in 2WD.....never had another tire do that (except say for a TSL or Bogger).

Working on gutting my rear suspension. Only got 2 more brackets to get off. Swapping from 2wd leaf springs to 4x4 leaf springs, and while I'm at it putting on a zero-rate, shackle flip and a 7" shackle. This should give me enough lift I won't need my block, or add-a-leaf.

Sprayed the lower half of the slide-in side walls to match the truck. Then starter ripping the ceiling down, it needs redone cause of water damage and also can use some reinforcement while I'm at it - this truck rides real rough, the beefier the slide-in gets the longer it will survive to the abuse.

Howdy Brother Trey, yeah, I've been lurking mostly last few weeks - trying to make most of my vacation, meaning truck/house work during day and anime when sunlight abandons me. Watch Madlax, by the way, methinks you may like it, I got a linky for english dubs with good quality if you're interested.

Just taking a break from working on mine. Got the sliding rear window installed and while the trim panels were out it got prewired for a cargo light mod I have planned. Also swapped out the water pump pulley for the correct one, installed a good used a/c compresser and finally installed a shroud in place of the plastic baffle. Next week the a/c will get leak checked and charged after work.:) Now it's time to replace the broken shift lever.

Just finished putting Summit racing gauges in the 93 F-250.....oil press. coolant temp, trans fluid temp, volt meter. Used adapters so that the factory gauges in dash still work, only took 6 trips to the auto parts store to get the right brass fittings!.......no leaks, and 65 psi cold idle oil press. 30psi hot at idle......around 55psi going down the freeway.

I fixed it today. Took out the second store-bought dizzy and put in a junkyard dizzy and she runs like a champ, go figure.

nighthawk285 06-26-2010 08:44 PM

hey! glad to hear you're up and going again

drove the ol exploder through a decent little hole today. despite my amazin approach angle (only an inch below the frame rails) my front bumper still hit the ground, and on the way through, my frame, muffler and spring mounts left a pretty good gash in the dirt. it was kinda a slimy little mud hole too, but did er like a champ in 2wd with a little back and forth action. :-X22
