I pulled out a Dodge 2500 megacab 4x4 with the cummins in it. He didn't think my little 95 would pull himn out Boy, I showed him!:-missingt. He did comment on how loud & nice my pickup sounded. Offwered to pay me, but I told him since he was driving a Dodge, he better save his money. I think he may have cracked a smile. Need to change some tires around tomorrow.

Swapped my Ford power steering pump for a saginaw. Much quieter now, and no more leaks.

Nice find on the tailgate. Those are impossible to find with a mint condition stainless trim here in BC.

Powerwashed the years on sludgey goop off of the bottom of the truck. That ps pump must have been leaking for years. Maybe should have done this before I changed the pump. Would have made the job a lot cleaner...

pulled it out of the garage with the tractor, put the boat in the garage, pushed it back in the garage.

Washed, then used megiures 3 step process (paint cleaner, paint polish, and wax) on her. Man does she shine, but my arms are worn out!!!!! Then took her for a ride to take some pics in the sun light and had to finish buffing some of the wax off, only to find battery dead in the camera. I was grining ear to ear when I was done though. I did the exact opposite here. Did a little wheeling today. It's supposed to rain on Tuesday, so that should clean most of the mud off. :-X05

I bought 4 new tires for mine. 2 all seasons for the front and a pair of luggers for the rear. I'm gonna hold out a few more weeks before I install them though. It looks a lot better with the aluminum wheels and T/A radials.:)

Replaced the rear Brakes and Drums on my '95 today. What a pain I don't like dealing with rear drum brakes but they had to go as the Drums starting to come apart. After that I decided to rotate the tires while it was in the air. I noticed the right front lower ball joint is very loose. Not sure if I want to tackle this myself or not. I only have a month left before NYS inspection.

Installed new tires and checked the front suspension on my 96 today. Discovered it needs 2 new ball joints. I'll get them as soon as payday rolls around.:)

SouthernBlues 10-26-2008 07:59 PM

I put on a new brake pedal
