Do you have any data to back up this "snake oil" claim?

Before you jump down my throat look who posted that statement.

Let's keep this thread on track, shall we? There is an entire chapter devoted to lubricants, if anyone wants to keep discussing them I advice going down there.

Did I tell you guys I just got my Flowtech headers? I also got an OTC sliding hammer :), it's like a little christmas for me, I'm eager to install the headers and see the gains.

Sounds good. Keep us updated on those headers. I am anxious to get my new exhaust in. I may still be able to do it next weekend.

Going to go and rent a cooling system test kit tomorrow morning to find the leak.

Cleaned it out, found enough to get myself a six pack

Could you possibly do a technical write up for the headers? I haven't seen one and you have some very good and in depth write ups. It might be helpful to other including me

Well I found my leaks... Thermostat gasket has a slow leak, lower radiator hose leaks at the radiator when the system is pressurized and the bottom seal of the water pump is leaking. A pressure test showed the thermostat and lower radiator hose, but the water pump doesn't leak until the truck is up to temp and running.

Anyone have a recommendation from experience on what brand of water pump to buy? I was thinking Motorcraft, but after doing some research it appears they are now made in china and don't last long from what I have read. Should I just get a store brand one with a lifetime warranty?

That's what I would do.

Yeah... Too much work and too much money. I need the truck up and running ASAP. I like your thinking though.

I looked at the rolled '94 in the back yard and wondered what to do with it -- again.

My options are fix it, scrap it, or part it out and give the remnants to a friend who wants to build a trailer.

What did I do today? Went for a drive... over to my local tire shop.

I think this is the route I am going to go. If it goes bad I can take it right back in and get another one.

Very jealous those are the best tires out there in my opinion. I want to get a set of them on my 88 F150. What size did you end up going with?
