1994 Ford F150 4x4 Tires and rims

New here with a few questions, I would like to replace my stock tires and rims on 1994 Ford F150 4x4 from 235/75r15 too 30/9.5R15, not sure if this tire will be bigger? second not sure of the bolt pattern? :-bangheadAny help would be great, thanks

These trucks have 5 x 5.5 bolt pattern. Stock tires size is about 28" diameter, 30 x 9.5 will be about 30" on a similar 7.5" wheel. This will change the total gear ratio of the vehicle, whether it's a positive or negative change depends upon the axle gearing and engine combo.

If you get it set up and it doesnt work, you can raise the bumper up a little and put two thick lock washers behind it, gives you a little more clearance. Is trimming the bumper an option for you?

These size tires fit on an F150 4x4 no problem.. just happens to be the exact size tire I have on my truck right now. I have also had 31x10.5 tires on 8" rims on this truck no problem, and have seen 32x11.5 tires on these trucks.

33x12.5 is the biggest you can go, but you have to trim the inner bumper lip. Id go 31x10.5 they will look alot better then the 30's

I have 31x10.5 BFG All Terrain KO's on the stock rims and love them, they fill up the wheel well nice and didn't lower my gas mileage or anything. They also ride and handle nice.

I am running 31x10.50 firestone destination at's on mine, the neighbor has 33x12.50's on his, both oem wheels just like in builtfordtough's picture :-X25

Are your rims oem? I'm about to buy the truck mentioned in this thread and the current tire size is 31x10.5OR15LT but if they are the stock rims then my 235/75/15 tires should fit right? Could you send a picture of your rims if they are the stock ones?

I don't think I'll ever run less than 33x10.5 again but I like to explore the mountains in the fall. I have them mounted on stock wheels, with about 1.5" lift up front and bumper spaced 0.5". I don't tow much though. I'd run LT235/75R15 if I were still towing heavy.

Or you can call it a day and get some 35"
rims are 17x9
