Speedometer Problem Question
Hey Guys!
The question is...my speedo a couple days ago all of a sudden started bouncing back and forth about 10mph's at a time. it goes down from the actual speed. and if this helps i cant use the cruise control it kicks out when it bounces down. thank you |
Check the connector for the speed sensor on top of the rear axle. Could be loose or corroded also could be a bad sensor.

i'd be afraid to see what you'd do with an unlimited amount of mods for a 7.3 :-bigparty

I would have at least 4 trucks! modded to the hilt! all built for different purposes, Daily driver, 1/4 mile, truck pulls and dune runner!

AND yes... It's probably VSS or connection leading to it. If you getting one from autozone or similar place, it's called a RABS (Rear anti-lock brake sensor) they'll give you the wrong part if you ask for VSS -Robb |

If I could have anything I would have the 4 above and 1 each of a Cummin's in a Ford though (no Dodges here!) and a chevy D-max.
