What do you guys think of this truck!!!
 

99 f-350 powerstroke 4x4


Right now i got a 1996 f-250 460 and only getting 10 mpg..I was wondering what you guys think about this truck..I know diesel is 4.03 here but gas is 3.55...I was wondering what kind of fuel enconomy i can expect for this..And will it compete with the performance of the 460 or not..I know it needs a trans most likely and i should be able to rebuild it for 1500..

It's hard to tell by pics, it has low miles for that year, yet the tranny is trashed. You need to look under the truck for abuse. Is this a farm truck? The sheet metal tore up sounds like good ole american farmer, price is low. You can more than likely get it for less if you have to rebuild tranny.

It looks like it has been used pretty hard. Without any good pics a guy would have to look at it in person.

Im only getting 10mpg with mine but im on it pretty hard. Even when Im not on it im only getting 12mpg tops. I dont know why. That one your looking at is an early 99...my early 99 with a 6-speed got 20mpg in town and 24mpg on the highway......hmmm so why did I sell that thing????? IM KICKING MYSELF!
