can you use transmission fluid...
as a fuel? my grandfather thought that he acciedentaly filled his truck up with gas one day, and he called a local diesel shop and asked what to do.. they said put tracnsmission fluid in with the gas... i turned out he didnt put gasoline in it, but i was wondering if i could use my used tranny fluid as a fuel... or may be they told him to put trans oil... idk it would make more sense.
I suppose you could, it is a large hydrocarbon, but i wouldnt personally... especially not used stuff.
so, wait the at fluid or oil? isnt the at trans fluid a solvent?
What the...?

There are guys around here that have run it for years in their Fords. They run it year around with no problems. (from what they tell me)
Been running it for a couple years now. I have used a ton of it. For nine months of the year I run a 95%(used atf)/5%(diesel) mix. And 50/50 in the winter. Saving a s***t load of money!:-jammin

A friend of mine has a shop and does alot of tranny flushes.

I have always used ATF to refill fuel filters, plus its a great lubricative additive.
