How much are D60's going for lately...
Hey guys......I've not had a real truck (otherwise read not stock) in a while now and I came across a old 350 the other day with dana 60 front and dana 70 rears........what are those selling for lately?

If you can find a Kingpin D60 front from a 78-79 Ford and its less than 1000.00 buy it. Id say a good adverage price is $1200 but $1500 isnt uncommon. It all depends on location and how bad you want it. 70 rears can be had $100-300 again depending on where youre at and how bad you want it.
The best deals are found in complete trucks for like $2000-2500 with all the junk already there |
you have those axles in the truck now and are wanting to sell them? what year truck are they on
|
The cheapest I can find a decent stock Dana 60 for that the owner knows what it is, usually around a grand to 1500.

i have seen them for around $800 that needed very minor work, usually like said they will go for around $1000-$1500 for one that opperates correctly tho

I got a sterling 10.25 and a d60 from ozzy on here for 650? I think.

ball joint or KP?
|
I would love to find one where the owner didn't know what he has.
I was hunting through the junkyard by my house just hoping like hell one of the trucks had a D60.... I was thinking if I had a chance it would be at that yard, b/c noone goes there and most trucks aren't touched, and the owner likes me and wouldn't of know what it was and would of let it go dirt cheap, but of coarse I didn't find one. Closest thing was a D44HD..... So other than finding a deal, buying a 78-79 D60 that needs a rebuild is around $1,200 |
