WVO and Kero?

Can I run a 50/50 mix of kerosene and filtered WVO in my 86 f250 6.9L?

i would not run kerosene. it has not lube in it and is bad for well just about all of the upper part of the motor.

i would think the veggie oil would replace any lost lubercation in the kero i think you would still need a tank heater to run it properly though

cheap kerosene?

Use #2 or jet A whatever, but if what your spraying out your
injectors is too thick and process is more like dribbling... and
your going to end up with coking problems!

Running WVO blends is a big gamble. You could lose your engine.
If you want to run WVO do it right.

PS I know I will get an argument but you have to decide if you want to take the risk.

Simple answer is "Yes."

To do it right, it's not as simple as just dumping some filtered WVO and K-1 into the truck's tank.

Blending is one way to go. However you need to be in a warm climate to do it. You can actually run straight WVO if it is done correctly. Check out http://www.frybrid.com/index.htm for the best information on doing this. He has some very good articles and studies available as well as a well attended forum.
