looking to add bio to my 03 6.0 couple of ??

I want to start running some bio and figure the b5 to b20 is my range for up here in MA. I read (I think) somewhere ine FTE that the first tank with bio cleans everything out of your tank and lines and a fuel filter change is due shortly thereafter. Is that true? If so how long after putting the first bio in should I expect to have to change my filters? I put 40k on my truck a year and change fuel every 10k.

Thanks in adavance as always.......

Biodiesel is a great solvent! Using B-5 or B-20 is not aggressive enough to cause filter plugging. I would carry an extra filter just in case, but most people don't have a problem with lower blends.

Watch for any HP change. If you notice a drop in HP/ responsiveness then change fuel filters.

I changed mine about 8,000 miles after I started running b-5. just for peace of mind I guess? The filters had 9,000 on them.
