Best DOT rated pull tires
What is the best tire for the pull track? I can't imagine boggers are the best since they are specifically designed for sloppy mud, but that's what I've been running. Have been thinking about buying a set specifically for pulling. Thanks for input.

Most guys around here use Cooper Discoverers or BFG AT tires

BFG's AT's, Mickey Tompson Baja Claws, TrXus STS, Cooper makes some decent ones.
Not in any order and track conditions and tire pressures make the biggest differences. They will all hook up and break stuff so be ready. Wider and taller is "generally" better if you can maintain your optimal gear to minimize downshifting at the end of the track. Don't run mud terrains. They dig and pile dirt in front of the sled and make it harder to pull. Correct tire pressure is key. |
truck ill be pullin with is a 4 spd, so i don't think it'll be down shifting :)
Thanks for your input. |
