Has more to do with traction over motor.

At least the Cummins was not in a HUM-VEE this time.

Moved to Diesel Competition. :-X06

Gotta hand it to the guys who have the guts to hook their trucks up and pull off. I know I don't. :-X10 But yes, it's all about traction.

i love how inlinediesel.com has all these cummins vs psd pulloffs that of couse the cummins wins like the first one "hookin". one of these days im gona find all the videos that the psd's win and make a video of it. for godness sake my buddys 86 650k 6.9 idi NA pulled a 98 12v cummins back in a field its not all about the motor its the driver! i like cummins 5.9s but these cummins guys p*ss me off some times

lazyscholar 03-22-2008 08:16 PM

tjthegreat 03-23-2008 10:34 PM

That is one of those new 08's with the 6.4. I have a feeling that 6.4 will be the motor of choice in a ford when it comes to all out power. They already at that 500hp mark with just a tuner.

Hooking back to back on pavment the heaver and longer truck willwin
I f you want to find out who's the best ford, dodge, chevy hook to a sled that shows real power.
cumming-is spelled cummins

joecool3 05-22-2008 09:07 PM

who cares how he spelled it ,,the true way to do it is hook to a post with a chain and a gauge in the middle of the chain and it will show how much pounds it will pull before breaking traction????????JOE:-X0A6

I'm with you, they are always going on soley about what's under their hood. They know that's all they have going for them. The *godly* Cummins. It almost makes me sick... actually it does make me sick. Dodge is not the way to go if you want a truck to use to work hard.

tjthegreat 07-05-2008 03:29 PM

i kno how to spell cummins just a typo

You want a great competition that the PSD will always win?
here's how it works- you and a buddy buy one of each ( make sure you get the PSD) and use it as your DD for ten-fifteen years. then compare truck repair reciepts!
