DRW Axle?

I'm wanting to swap my '78 250 to a dually 350. Anyone have or know of a dual rear wheel axle for sale in or near NC?

I don't have a clue, but hey welcome to the NC chapter.:-X22

i use to have a set. but you need to make sure the axle you find is not off a cab and chasis truck if it is it wont fit. the frames are a different.

Thanks for the info. I'm guessing the frame is narrower on a cab/chassis? My frame measures about 35" across the front rails and 37.5" across the rear.

yes cab and chassis is narrower.

Cab and chassis rear frame is 34"
Complete truck rear frame is 37.5"

Cab and chassis rear axle is identical to a SRW axle when measured back plate to back plate, just the spring perches are closer together on the cab and chassis axle.

A true dually axle is 4" wider than a SRW axle when measuring back plate to back plate.
