Joe was is supposed to go for an operation soon, this week I think. Has anyone heard from Joe or have information if he has had the operation on his hip?

I called yesterday and Joe's cell went directly to voice mail. Hopefully he will call me back when he gets a chance.

I finally was as to speak to Joe today. He has not had his operation yet.
I had to postpone the operation until March 17th, because his mother passed away last week I think he said. He said to tell you all hi and thanks for your kind words. |

Monday is the day for my new hip. I have a titanium plate in my neck, titanium implants in my mouth, will have a new steel hip come this Monday and the thing that I want most to be made out of steel or titanium they won't give me.
Thanks guys, we where with her to the last breath. Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis (hardening of the lungs). Before she lost consciousness we where able to pray together, that was very comforting. We took her and her husbands (he died last March) ashes to a spot they liked when they where younger, mixed them together and spread them under a large tree they had spent some time under. |
