code 1211
 

hi guys im new to the webpage but ive got a 97 f250 with a superchips programmer on it but recently my check engine light comes on and pops up a code 1211 but it will also do it when its set back to stock what should i do? Any help would be nice

Welcome to FTE ... If you are getting on it and get the light ...It may only mean the HPOP can't keep up with demand ,,, It sets the light if pressure is not what was expected for 7 seconds ...Does it run poorly at the CEL ?...You may also be low on oil or in need of an oil change ....

Check the fuel pressure also .....

X7 KOER ON-DEMAND DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) P1211

• DTC P1211 indicates that injection control pressure was above or below commanded desired pressure during self test mode.
• Possible causes:
  • incorrect oil or viscosity
  • poor oil quality
  • gel fuel/no fuel
  • low fuel pressure
  • damaged IPR valve
  • high-pressure oil system leak
  • damaged high-pressure oil pump
  • damaged PCM
• Verify correct oil quality/viscosity and correct fuel grade are being used for the temperature conditions.

Is oil and fuel quality OK?

well i just changed the oil in it like 3 days ago so i know its got oil but yeah it seems like it does it when i kinda get on it

Iam just not shure you used the right oil.
I cannot recall 10/40 diesel rated
