I read the bill and I am curious if this excludes vintage/ classic cars with large displacement "muscle cars"? It also references RVs. I wonder if truck campers are exempt? Sounds like a poorly written bill.

prolly the damn tree huggers tryin to convince ppl from gettin trucks.....i heard on the news that to manufacture a battery for a prius, it produces the same amount of pollution that a hummer puts out over a 5 year period AND the battery in a prius has to be replaced every 60k miles

Shocker!!! All King County (Seattle) senators except one..... Another attempt to tax the entire state to support Seattle's Transit/Ferry system! Shouldn't this be a local tax paid by the people working in cubicles and driving their Escalades and H2s instead of filling their coffers with the tax money from the hard workers bringing them their Ethanol/Biodiesel/Rock/Wood/Food products who really use their vehicles for the good of all?!?!?!? I'd be happy to contribute if the money were to stay local.... What really pisses me off is the moronic Clark County senator that jumped on the King County band wagon... He must be thinking about making a move up in Olympia!

Olympia the king of beer. I been there a few times.

Ever since we passed the $30 tabs they have been trying to get more money out of us. Well if this passes be paying a butt load more for tabs on our farm pickups and trucks, that don't get more than a few thousand miles a year but are mostly larger than 6 liters. We already have the highest fuel tax in the country I beleve, and they tax us for vehicle weight too. Washington isn't the evergreen state its the TAX state just keeps getting worse.

Collected annually.......x( I would be moving, you have plenty of other states that are much nicer to live in.

wrangler76 02-07-2008 07:38 PM

Yeah, It sucks up here... No one move here!!! Especially if you're from California! It rains all the time and beer/liquer/fuel are all more expensive.... ;)

I moved down to Las Vegas, NV in 1999 from Ellensburg, WA. I thought I would never say but I actually miss the greenery. All you have in Las Vegas to look at are brown mountains.
