computer swap

Is it possible or has anyone ever swaped a mustang computer in there 4.6 F-150 if so how did it work and did you have to change anything out.

4.6 to 4.6 should run decent, but the pinout is most likely different and you may have extra features on the mustang that your truck doesn't use. Such as electric fans, traction control, ect.

If your looking for power or tune-ability, you should be able to tweak a 96+ f150 easily.

I did the P.I. swap Heads,Cams,Mustang Intake,Professional Products Upper Intake Plenum, And 75mm Throttle Body It does not perform like it should and it misses every now and then so I thought maybe I would need a different tune there is no dyno around town so I cant get a tune that way any suggestions.

a/f should be the same regardless of airflow, which the MAF will read. Sniper's special forces will allow you tweak your a/f ratio to your hearts delight. SCT can mail you a custom tune. I really like my Special Forces. For performance, double check your vacuum lines, clean the MAF, change your o2s and fuel filter. The 20-30 hp you picked up shouldn't feel like much in a 5000lb truck unlike a thousand pound lighter car.
