Oh Pat hows your truck doing?
 

Hey I was just curious. How has your truck been performing an have hyou had any problems with your engine. I was thinking about getting a late model 06 or 07 with the 6.0. Off course I know about all the bugs with the earlier motors an was just curious how your was doing? Any problems how many miles MPG an such. If anybody else has one an is reading this tell me your experiences chime in if you want.

BTW I do look at the 6.0 forums. But I thought if I posted in here I could get some truly good resposes.

They have their quirks but I love mine. Plenty of power. If you have other questions feel free to email me as I don't check this board as often as I used to.

Yep, I'm here. I love the 6.0! I only have about 20,000 on it (I usually drive the '97 to work), but it's been a great truck. No problems with the diesel, except for going to the fuel pumps! I have a boat that weighs around 4,000, and that 6.0 pulls it like it's not even there! I can usually pull down around 20-22 on the highway, if it's flat and level. Now, I haven't driven the 6.4 (yet, but I'm going to), so I could give you any info on that. Maybe CB can. Have you driven one of these Chris??

Man thats great mileage. Yah this fuel situation is the worse4 thing. Boy I here people are not getting the mileage on the new 6.4s at all. Very disappointed most people are. Oh well a 6.0 might be in my future.

I'm just pissed at the price of diesel! I can remember when diesel was 30-50 cents cheaper than gas!

Yeh tell me about it. I got my truck 3 years ago an it cost me $50.00 to fill the tank. Now I cant even get it half full.

Haven't driven one of the 6.4's yet. I am trying to stay away from the dealerships as bad things happen when I go there... Got BBF's to build for pull season. You get great mileage. I wish I got that good.

Black has the 3.73's in it, so that helps.
