Interesting, but according to the owner of the mule the lion was already dead when this took place, or as I was told by " a friend of my sister-in-law, who was there" they wanted to see what the mule would do with the dead cat since the mule was "very curious" about the dead cat.

Which is the reason that most cattle farms have donkeys mixed in with the herd. It keeps the coyotes away.
