I ain't posted in a while, and I still don't have a notch body yet. I'm thinking long and hard about a '73 250 4x4 with a '79 body on it. Were going to have to drill a lot of holes due to the narrow frame, but we can handle it.
Here's my last restoration that I did this summer. Not a Ford, but just as nice. https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y276/PinMd/3-1.jpg |

Hey ya'll, I think just about everything is posted in my sig. Just thought I'd add my couple of pennies to the thread.
|
Pin, I thought 73-79 frames were the same or is the difference between 4x2 & 4x4? I know 65' - 72' are pretty much the same.

On Topic...My e-mail, philip.allen@erieinsurance.com
Off topic....I think '73 to '77 f-250 4x4's had a narrower frame than the other 4x4's. If you try to put a regular 4x4 bed on a highboy you got to drill new holes. Sorry about that Tractor Boy, I just can't help myself. |
