I can appreciate someone wanting to do what they want to their truck, but this? I don't think they really had a plan in mind, just thought it would be fun to start cutting, and cutting, and cutting.

irondragon79 01-02-2008 08:40 AM

Yeah, that appears a bit overkill to me.. and this coming from a guy who cut his truck in half to make his truck into an extended cab. I mean in my case my truck was a basketcase and not complete enough for a resto.. but that truck looks like he started with decent sheetmetal

Someone will buy it just for the vintage SW gauges.

What would scare me is the fact there is no glass, I know that can be a real pain with a chopped vehical. I also love the fact that its being sold for parts? What parts are left that haven't been hacked? Basically I think someone realized they screwed up their project and just want to dump it off.

Agreed, but have you priced the senders for S-W stuff lately?! $75+ for an oil pressure sender.

It doesn't look like any "56" I've ever seen, maybe he cobbled it together out of parts? Still, Muy ugly though!

When I see something like that I usually say that someone either ran out of Time, Money or Talent.
It's not often that you see all three in one project.
