Wyoming Ford Meet????

Was wondering how many people we had on this forum in Wyoming and that it probably would be cool to have a meet somewhere... Done this before on other forums and it usually turned out pretty cool. Usually it was at someone's house or so. How many interested people would we have? If there is enough interest what would be a good general date?

There's a lot to visit in and around Buffalo, Wyoming.

Buffalo has the Occidental Hotel where Owen Wister wrote The Virginian, the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum (he saved everything) and nearby at Kaycee is the famous hideout of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid...Hole-in-the-Wall.

Also close to Buffalo is the site of the in-famous Johnson County War.

btw: If you decide to meet in Cody in June, forget it. That's where the two largest collector gun shows in the country are held, a week apart.

Maybe if we can get some more guys from around the state we can have a meeting thing in Casper its the closest thing to a center the state has I think. I really like the idea of a meeting thing. I bet we could get almost 20 peple, that could be awsome. Be on the look out for more people from around the state and nearby on the fourms. Cant wait guys!

How about when we get 10 people 2 weeks from then we will have a meet? Anytime so see wyomingites make sure you pm or email them and invite them into our meeting. If we all find them we may have a good turn out.

and right on, im not a fan of diesel but i am a fan of ford :) Id rather have a ford anything above a chevy dog or a ricer

wyo_ford_05 07-28-2008 01:27 PM

Yeah ford is the only way to go. How are you liking the 08 triton ten Raider50?

Raider50 07-28-2008 01:38 PM

its preaty nice its a lariat too, it pulls really good for not having tons of power. It is the second fastest truck we have. It pulls alot easier than both our excursion and 460. it has the tow/haul and it makes it pull more like a stick as in it will keep in gear going down hill and what not. The biggest problem with the truck is how quite the motor is when at idle and on cruise, when you rap it up to 4500 or 5000 rmp's it gets loud :)
