Snowfest 2008 -- January 23rd - 28th

Okay, we need to pick a date. To early, and there are no sculptures.

And I do enjoy looking at them.


I'm pretty much throwing this out as a, hey lets all have dinner and then.. do whatever.

Becasue otherwise it would be a big group of guys and a revernd walking around. hahaha.

The 26th works best for me. As it looks now I will be able to be there. NOW, if your talking just dinner then the 27th is the only day I will be able to be there. NOW I DO UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ALL CAN'T ADHEAR TO MY SCHEDUAL, SO do what you have to, to have a meet. I will try to be there if I can.

Man, WTH, people are comming here and not helping figure out a date that works! what gives?

William, I can work with any time and date. so what works for every one else
works for me. now for the rest of you pick a day you can make it then the top
pick takes it. thats the day we will set. time is running short. plans must be made.

sorry can't come. too far away. plus William told me i couldn't come unless my stacks are back on but I gotta get my injectors bought and put in before i redo the stacks!

get a ride with some one that is by you or goes by you to get there you do not need your truck for this.

William why not make it the 26th. saturday. possible late lunch or early dinner
then do some sight seeing or something like that. how about the rest of you. will
that work or not. what kind of things do you all want. lets get it together.

I could make the 26th, provided there isn't a snow storm that I have to clean up. I like the late lunch idea. Eveybody would have time to get there and wander around for a bit, lunch, then wander around more. Of course I will have to bring the wife, she would have to see all the sculptures.

I would like to know if you guys want to go to the woolen mill also.
It closes at 5ish. So we'd ahve to be there at a certian time.

If nobody wants to go, no biggie, but i can get you guys a tour and all that. =)

as far as I know it still a go. Just don`t know how many of us will be
there. William how many so far? let us know.

for all of you that don`t want to drive. I can take 3 others. can pick up
on the way. I live 12mi. east of south haven (bangor). any where along the
rote from here is good.

I'll have to check the date to see if I can go. Many farm meetings in Jan and Feb.

I have mass messages going out here as soon as FTE fred gets them sent out.

This event really depends on participation from the members. if only 2 or 3 members are going to attend, I think I might cancle the event.

I know others are more avail then others (tim3) and some are not as avail (tim1 and tim2) but there are a lot of members visiting the forums here and posting, and not saying a lick about this event, which is irking me hardcore.

I really can't just have you "show up" having a good idea on the head count is VERY important, specially if we go to the woolen mill.

I just wanted to show all, I read the posts. LOL

This is how its going to go so far, well with my idea's and all.


Were going to meet at brauners (spelling) parking lot. Some corner where we can all find eachother.

Then we can head up the road to the woolen mill, and get a tour, and then back way into barvarian inn and park in a group $$.
Snap some pictures the whole way.

Then from there we can walk to where ever we are eating. and take a look around town.

They have a big beer tent and some small beer tents. I usually make my way around and stop in the big one to get warmed up.
After lunch and stuff though, ya know whatever sorta deal.

We should probably figure out where to eat and a time, so i can set us up a table at the resteraunt also.

I want to go, but it will only depend on the weather. It will be my luck that we get a major event that day and I will spend the day in my backhoe again. Plan on me for 2, but don't get mad if it snows.

That sounds good to me. as far as time I say late lunch possible 2pm or so. then we can do whatever. what is your idea on time. when can everyone get there. we only have 16 days left. everyone that is going needs to let us know by the 15th. give time
you can be there and how many in your group.

haha :-D I was wondering if i was seeing that correctly.... Well we know he is in for sure! As for me if I'm going I'm not sure yet...but hopefully.

Well if he has 6 seats then I am all set I can just use a couple of them. 2 is good for me, although I will most likely be there early and wander around a bit.

Pray for no snow that weekend, or at least until saturday night late.
