Out of warranty Work
 

Can anyone recommend any local shops in edmonton that have good 6.0 Powerstroke techs? I'm having some serious issues with my truck 2k out of warranty and don't want to pay $150/hr or whatever they charge at the dealer.

Check the AMA site for CAA approved shops.

There is no vehicle specific information in that list, and the only one that would be of any help via the description was Team Ford, which is where i went while i was in warranty. I'm looking for somebody hopefully who has dealt with a good out of warranty shop that really knows there way around a 6.0, if such a shop exists.

since it is an International engine, maybe check with the local International dealers to see if they work on those engines (i know Cummins Alberta does a lot of work on the dodge cummins engines and the old Ford/International 7.3 powerstrokes).

if not then i would try some of the diesel engine repair shops that specialize in just diesels.

i know by looking at past posts the main problem Ford was having with these engines was due to the computer programming, so you might be only left with Ford.
