Hello

I'm new here, and I'm hoping I can learn a few new things about my old truck. Just please try to be gentle with me, as it's my first time.

I have a question I'll be asking in the truck forum. If you're witty, brilliant, or just smart, I'd appreciate any suggestions you can give me.

Nice to meet all of you. Hope to hear from you.

LMAO, Hello welcome to FTE.

Feistygirl 10-21-2007 03:47 PM

Thank You

Thank you. I feel welcome already.

I posted the question that brought me here in another thread. If you have any suggestions, please make them. If someone doesn't tell me something quickly, I may have to resort to a real mechanic. And no matter how alluring I look, or how much I smile, they always charge me money. It's a bummer.

lostin90s 10-21-2007 07:43 PM

Get a real oil pressure gauge kit (I keep one just to check oil pressure in times like these) so you garage may have a loaner. This will tell you if its a gauge or engine problem

Guess I missed these posts way back when. Welcome to the forum feistygirl. Get that gauge on there and find out what kind of pressure you're ACTUALLY getting before your run that truck much longer. Wouldn't want to be running with dry cylinder walls ;)

Welcome to the club. Hope you don't have too many more issue with your truck. Its probably the sending unit, I know mine is on crack half the time, because I can start the motor and the needle peg to the 'T' of normal, turn the key off and restart and the needle won't even touch the "n" of normal.
