Hello
I'm new here, and I'm hoping I can learn a few new things about my old truck. Just please try to be gentle with me, as it's my first time.
I have a question I'll be asking in the truck forum. If you're witty, brilliant, or just smart, I'd appreciate any suggestions you can give me. Nice to meet all of you. Hope to hear from you. Feistygirl |
you seem too good to be true.
fiesty and shy. |

LMAO, Hello welcome to FTE.
|
Thank You
Thank you. I feel welcome already.
I posted the question that brought me here in another thread. If you have any suggestions, please make them. If someone doesn't tell me something quickly, I may have to resort to a real mechanic. And no matter how alluring I look, or how much I smile, they always charge me money. It's a bummer. |
Welcome to FTE!
so do we get a hint about where your question may be? |
why are you not posting your problem?
|
She did look down the page. "Oil pressure gauge problem"
|
Well smart and witty leaves me out . But the people on here really know there stuff . Just keep asking questions and giving info and we can help you .
Oh welcome to FTE 87-97 trucks And yes she has put a oil pump in but oil presure drops and fluctuates . Needs info |
Get a real oil pressure gauge kit (I keep one just to check oil pressure in times like these) so you garage may have a loaner. This will tell you if its a gauge or engine problem
|

feisty girl |
Guess I missed these posts way back when. Welcome to the forum feistygirl. Get that gauge on there and find out what kind of pressure you're ACTUALLY getting before your run that truck much longer. Wouldn't want to be running with dry cylinder walls ;)

Welcome to the club. Hope you don't have too many more issue with your truck. Its probably the sending unit, I know mine is on crack half the time, because I can start the motor and the needle peg to the 'T' of normal, turn the key off and restart and the needle won't even touch the "n" of normal.
