wear your safety glasses

a small plumbing job resulted in a trip to grafton city hospital -- a grafton man {me} was attempting to fix a small leak under his kitchen sink earlier this evening when, while not wearing proper safety equipment, a small drop of purple primer used on plastic pipe dropped into his eye, after a quick trip to the local er he is recovering nicely -- he made the following statement -- DAMN THAT STUFF BURNS !!!!!!

Didn't read the MSDS did you?

It plainly states that it irritates eyes and other sensetive skin.
It also says not to use it in confined spaces without ventilation.

no but i had my wife read it as i was holding my eye wishing i'd have left that thing leak one more day

At least he was at Grafton.

If he came to UHC we would probably have a one eye wonder typing at us now.

i got a piece of metal stuck in my eye once and went to UHC and had to show the doctor how to turn the machine on that he was using to look into my eye -- really scary

LOL, I tell my wife not to take my dog to the local hospital....I like to understand the language my physician speaks. Native english is a good thing!
