want 35's

I drive a 2004 sd 6.o ext cab installed warn semihiden winch tha t pushed the bumber out around 5"and just upgraded to dynatrac free spin kit can i run 315/75/16 tire's on 16x10 rims by installing the DR 2"mini spring kit

I too have a semi hidden kit, 4" pro comp lift and 315's. They only rub at full lock, 2.5 hanger kits rub much sooner or so was our experience with fabtech's.

Warn has fillers for the bumper, one for the top and one for each side if the gap is bothering you.

so even that you have a 4" the tire's slill rub on what part of the truck

On the leafs, but changing wheels might cure that. If I could find a decent looking set, I would try them, but I haven't had any luck finding good looking wheels.

You can run 35's with stock wheels.. You just have to push the turn stops out.. I ran mine on stock for a few weeks before I got my new wheels.. It's all in the backspacing.. That will push the wheels out further to keep them from hitting the leafs at stock turn stop settings.

at the time im an runing 305/70/16 on 16x10 outlaw2's and don't hit the springs so the 315's must be that much wider?

If you throw 315/75R16s on a 16x10.. as long as backspacing is 4.5 then your fine.. Most 16x10 aftermarkets are backspaced for this purpose..

jsduty 10-03-2007 05:17 PM

as long as i have at least the DR 2" sping kit or are talking stock

OH snap.. I just caught what you said.. Do this, call Truck Toyz http://www.trucktoyzperformance.com and talk to Marty or any of the guys there.. Tell em Storm sent you and they'll help you.. Marty is the expert DR man.. He's who I got my DR kit from..

I believe with 2" mini pack you will be tall enough to clear.. Since your front bumper is out from the winch you won't rub on the front bumper.. With 16x10's your not ever going to touch the springs.. 16x10's are backspaced to push the wheels out, 315/75R16's are standard tires for 16x10 rim.. Only thing I would believe rubbing at stock height would be the fender liner..

Normally the way a lift works is pushing the body up so that the middle of the tire horizontal to the road is lower then the body bottom line of the truck.. Basically you did that except you moved the bumper forward 5" for the winch.. So in theory you won't touch.. 35's on 16x10 with stock height would rub against the front bumpers badly.

Again don't quote me on this.. Thinking engineering wise.. You should be ok, it'll fill the wheel wells up thats for sure! Talk with Marty or the guys at Truck Toyz.. they can provide solid answer for you :)
