Tic salut

TicEagle 12-12-2007 02:26 PM

We don t have any race team. We only make dragracing. I have a Mitsubishi Starion powered by a 4G63T with a corvette transmission. I have between 600-650hp.

My buddy have a Nissan 240sx with same power.

We race in Montreal at Napierville dragway. We race in Ontario and we race at Norwalk Ohio dragway.

Hey guys!

So how come there isn't a Quebec chapter????

96sherm 01-28-2008 05:58 AM

ZBIGBIG19TH 01-29-2008 02:02 PM

Ex 2002V10

Skoda 01-29-2008 10:44 PM

thast a good qeustion, I usually order around, out and about, what seems to be your problem?

Regards
Skoda

I have vibration on my drive shaft(I balanced it for now my self but it's a short fix),would like to get one before summer, heater blower motor is starting to go slow,
auto hubs ,a/c condensor cover cracked, etc.
where do you get your parts????except stealer.LOL

Skoda 01-31-2008 11:28 PM

I get most my parts off ebay, I try and keep it so that the seller is in canada nut it doesn't always work out that way. For the vibration your talking about... you know a place called C.T Cam in laval? If you'd like more info let em know ;-) they'll rebalance it for roughly 70 bucks. Kijji is an awsome place to get some odd end parts, but not sure if you'll have any luck with it. Best bet is the net :-)

what kind of truck do you drive? qeulle ville tu vie?

I think were running a good 5:p

ZBIGBIG19TH 02-01-2008 02:17 AM

would I have to bring the shaft or go with the truck and they'll fix it on the spot???
do they fix cv joints?anyway I'll call them.I drive Excursion V10,live in Rosemount,
I'd check on kijiji but not many parts for EX there although ex, f250,f350 are almost the same and there's some parts for f series.E-bay has good prices but
shipping costs sucks.
thanx for info.
where you from???

96sherm 02-01-2008 06:13 AM

As a last ditch effort, you could check out autotrader in quebec and search the scrapped titles for parts, it never hurts to ask:-D

not sure the qeustions was asked to me but i'll given a responce anways:) I get 8.2mpg in city and 11.5mpg highway. now keep in mind I'am down a cylinder for both these reading's

96sherm 02-01-2008 09:28 PM

down a cylinder?? got that fixed yet?? i was wondering about the X more so, but thanks for the reply. seems v10 power sells for quite a bit less than PSD's...understandable i guess, but reliability seems to be good so it must just be the poorer mileage. how's yours for pulling and general running around??

ZBIGBIG19TH 02-04-2008 01:17 PM

thanx for info.I'm geting around 9 in the city and 14 on the highway.just made a trip to Toronto and got 1100km on 153 liters of gas .Yes I'am very happy with that milage.
All stock, with old sparks and 90000 miles(145000km) on them.new air filter and
clean MAFS.Didn't past 2000 rpm's dow,3 peoples in the truck ,no big load.
And it's winter so it's harder on the engine also. Some of the peoples don't believe me
but what do I care?
In the summer it's slightly better in the city ,around 10mpg.or 22-24 liters per 100km.
I don't rabbit jump on lights or race ,sporadically proove my self with some smart a@@.
but usually light foot ,not many places in Montreal to speed and too many cops hunting for your money.
