Thats the first bad experience i've heard with Steve (but I'm sure there could be others as with any shop). I've been going to him for years and never had a problem.

Chips- Hope every thing works out! Also, just in case you need it, there is also another place here called Penny's. They're one of the best shops over here for frame, suspension, and alignment work (mainly do commercial vehicles, but can and will work on all) and they're reasonably priced.

I appreciate the help from all. I hope things turn out well. I believe they will.

again, thanks

So did you end up at the 4 X 4 performance shop on HWY 190 across from the car wash mrchips63?

mrchips63 09-13-2007 04:41 PM

Not sure if it is across from a car wash or not. It is on 190. I don't remember the name, but they sale trailers also. They seemed like nice people. Will have the truck up there first thing in the morning, will pick it up Sat. Looking froward to having a good truck again.

:-X03 Good luck with it! Hope they do you a good job. My son in law had them install a BDS leveling kit on his 06. He was pretty happy. BTW Welcome to the site! I have a home north of Covington.

I hope I'm happy also. I also hope it aint raining as the only way I have to get home is haul my motorcycle and ride it back. Guess it wouldn't be the first time I have ridden in the rain though.

So mrchip63! Did you pick your truck up this morning? Did they do a good job?

mrchips63 09-15-2007 03:00 PM

I personal use Steve's 4wd. He is located in the Elmwood area (Metaire/Harahan) close to the Huey P Long bridge. Let me know if need direction or more info.

Steves moved I think cause the building he was in is vacant with a for lease/sale sign... the sign shop next door is gone too...

Yeah, he's located on the street(can't remember the name) next to Wally World on Jeff hwy, 1/2 block from river road on the left, across from the Oreck building.
