trade a 360 for a 460?
 

anyone intrested in trading a running 460 for a top shape 360 out of a 70 250 feel free to call me @ 607-639-1105 the closer to binghamton the better oh my name is will and one more question the stock trans in a 70 f250 camperspecial is a c6 right and will a 460 bolt right to my trans??? thanx

The 360 and 460 have different bell housing bolt pattern. You would need a 351C, 351M, 400 or 460 transmission.

I don't want a 360, but I'll give you a real good deal on a pretty fresh 460. The engine got flooded but we drained it and got it running again right away. It's since been pulled out of the truck. I rebuilt the engine - complete with new pistons about 5,000 miles ago. If I needed one - I'd seriously look at this engine. It came out of my 87 F350, it got the good heads on them - don't know the casting numbers though. The engine is in Conlkin, NY.
