2002 diesel cutting out
 

my 02 diesel was cutting out and the check engine light would come on and stay on. turn off the truck and turn it back on and the light goes out. I thought maybe it needed to warm up but this does not seem to be the case because it happpened again after driving for awhile. it also occasionally hesistates while driving. I've been changing the fuel filter every 15,000 miles and draining the fuel bowl every oil change. the truck has only 72,000 miles. any thoughts on this matter.

Quick guess would be CPS. They either go quick or give you alot of warnings. I would get a CPS replacement, about $28 and replace it. The only probs I've had with my 02 is the pedals and several CPS failures. CPS takes you about 10 mins to replace.
