Vacume Can problems

Mine doesn't actually hold a vacume. I have vacume going to the can, but none comming out.

I forgot what it does.
Should i fix it?

Your vacuum can stores "a vacuum" so that your climate controls still work under acceleration. you can pressurize it with no more than 15 psi to check for leaks. I fit leaks replace it.

Yea, my Vents change during accelleration sometimes.
Better change it then.

Thanks crash!

check it first, it could be a bad vacuum hose or solenoid valve. hoses on older cars tend to dry out and crack.

I checked the vacuum a while back. And got nothing out of the can.
But the in line for the vacuum read good.

I thought I was having a vacuum problem causing my poor gas mileage.
It's a bad FPR.
