Now you are finding out why we don't have a great Chapter here, eh? If YOU can get them together, have at it! We can't!

glruff 08-02-2007 07:21 PM

Hey Bud, how was your trip? Did you post some pics for the chapter to see?:-X22

I will help where I can. Just got to keep trying to find that common bond that pulls you all together.

Maybe we should auction off TB's Truck.

What do you think?:-missingt

We had a GREAT time...wish we could have taken another two weeks tho. 38 days just wasn't enough time to do 10,450 miles thru 21 states!

glruff 08-03-2007 09:53 AM

Hey great pics.

Did you get 20mpg? lol

jquest2 08-09-2007 10:13 PM

just wondering if you local guys have any specific local shops that you guys use to purchase parts..or just buy everything on-line?

glruff 08-10-2007 04:07 AM

Hey there jquest2. BTW what's your first name?

Did you know that after you get 25 posts, you can setup a signature?

Back to your question. It depends on what type of parts you are looking to buy. What are you looking to buy?

Thanks..actually the grandkids took most of the pics...yeah, I got 19.85 MPG !! NOT!!

10,460 miles, 11156.5 gallons costing $2923.18 !! Averaged 9.4 MPG. High altitude and heavy trailer plus the very large frontal area of old style 5th wheel didn't help milage.

glruff 08-10-2007 10:54 AM

Ahhhhh, but spending time with the grandkids..........................PRICELESS.

SCRWDRVR 08-10-2007 12:34 PM

The grand kids took some awesome pics :-X22

glruff 08-17-2007 06:06 PM

So are you certain of a deployment date?

Tractor Boy 08-17-2007 06:48 PM

not 4 @ least 1 year suckas!! HA! c, my new job has a clause in the contract that says during my 1 year probationary period I am not eligible 4 deployment...... but I think I can live with that

glruff 08-17-2007 06:55 PM

Well thats good news.

Great pictures Bud, being an Elvis fan I really liked the ones of Graceland. That is a fantasy trip my wife and I dream about, to be able to go across country like that and stop at the various attractions. Taking my grand kids along may prove daunting though.
