B&W Hitch installation

How hard is it to install a B&W turnover ball hitch? It is going in a 2000 F250 with a short bed. I need a little encouragement to get started.

I guess your talking for a Goose neck trailer?

Because this is the ball mount B&W that I run.

It is actaully a lot easier than you might think. Do yourself a favor and get a 4" hole saw, either borrow or rent. For me that was the hardest part. I cut mine out with a dremel, it worked but was painfully slow. Everything else was pretty much slide in and torque down in place. I also have air bags so I had to drill holes for that as well. All in all, it took me about 3 hours start to finish. Also, you might think about adding a trailer plug connector in the bed of the truck as well.

Edit: i a guess I assumed you are installing a goose neck turnover ball, is that correct?

Two guys, no smarts, not much in the way of tools. Put the B/W hitch in my '07 F350 in about 3 hours. Hole saw is a necessity. Patience is a necessity. Beer is a necessity.

Have one on my 2000 PSD SCREW shortbox. I use the 5th wheel companion for my 5th wheel towing as well - love it. One thing I did when I put the companion together was to use the rear most settings for it. I don't need a slider for my 5th that way as the extended pin box is enough for me to jack-knife if I need to. Handles just fine.
