Just get a 83-85 Mustang GT intake. It's aluminum too.

The 289 Hi-Po intake would be better, but hard to find.
The 302's only had a 4bbl carb 4 years (BOSS 302 not included)
1968 will be cast iron, but have no EGR valve.
1983, 1984, and 1985 are aluminum low rise EGR intakes on the Mustang GT's.

Not entirely true. Ford also made cast iron 4bbls through the early 70's, I dont know if they came stock on anything (maybe marine app's) but my grandpa had a D1OE 4bbl 302 intake on his HO in his model A. Either way Id go with the 85 mustang 4bbl intake, its lighter and will help cool the intake charge.
