A/C Problems
 

Have had my 07 Expedition in the shop 2 times now for A/C blowing hot. They just called to tell me that they have done everything they could and that nothing is wrong with it. When at idle it blows hot. They said they compared it to 2 others on the lot and they both do the same thing. They said that it is just too hot right now in Vegas and I am stuck with it this way. I cannot believe this since our F250 blows cold no matter what. Anyone experience the same thing? Any advice, they said this is how expedtions are?? I guess i just blew 40 grand!!

Does it eventually get cooler? There are things that will make it take a long time to cool off, but it will eventually.
When dealing with MVAC systems in extremely hot climates, there's what's called the triple whammy.
If you're in Vegas (or any desert area) at ~95+ degrees (1), in a black (or dark color) vehicle(2), with a large, dark color interior(3) that's been sitting all day in direct sunshine(4?), it will take forever to cool, if at all ,during the day. At idle, the system is taxed to it's maximum under these conditions and just ceases to function. I may be generalizing here, but I've seen very few white(or light color) Expeditions. There should be a noticible difference in the temperature of the air coming out of the ducts after a few minutes, though. 30-40 degrees temp differential is considered "normal". If the cabin temp is 130-140, then 100 degrees is "normal" from the vents until the cabin temp drops.
There is a point where most MVAC systems just can't handle the heat\sun load. Especially in vehicles with a huge passenger compartment like an Expy.(Your F-250 has a MUCH smaller cabin area to cool).
This is the inverse of the heater not working above the Arctic circle. Same complaint, different extremes.
