bleeding brakes

Curious,
I have the Supercrew 4x2, and just want to run some new fluid thru the brake system. With anti lock, is there any special procedure I need to be aware of other than the usual pump the peddle and add fluid as you drain?? I've bled and replaced components before, but not on a vehicle with antilock. Thanks anyone.

The procedure is the same but you must make certain the method you use removes 100% of the air or the ABS system will not function right.

The best way to do that is make sure you don't put any air into the system.

Just be extra careful that the reservoir doesn't go dry while you're pumping the fluid through, and you'll be fine.

I have a power bleeder from Motive Products. I've used it on several cars, comes with adapters to fit on the resevoir, and it works great. It only takes about 20 minutes to do.
