Sheet metal for 64 F600
 

I am starting to do some restoration of the front area of my truck. I have removed the inner fenders and working on the outer fenders. I do have significant rust on the inner fenders. Maybe they can be fixed. However wondering if replacement inner fenders are an option?

Also have some rust holes in the radiator support. Again I think it can be repaired. But wondering if a replacement is available.

I do see the NPD and Dennis Carpenter have some parts. But usually they list only up to the F350. Would any of these work for my truck?

In other words

Yes the repops made by the former obsolete ford of oklohoma city that everyone sells, meaning the inner aprons left and right will fit. But be advised the passenger side will have the depression for the battery box that is not present on your rusty F600. A minor detail unless you are doing a pebble beach restoration.

The reproduction core support will fit.

P.S give me a PM and i can point you to a supplier that specalizes in larger truck sheet metal. He scrounges it up out here in the southwest.

Do you have a recommendation on where I might order some inner fenders and radiator support for my 64 f600? I have found several locations, but any experience which will work for sure?

For new reproduction sheetmetal i would order from NPD (National Parts Depot) free shipping on orders over 300 bucks.

Fender extension
 

Any idea where I could find a fender extension for a 64 f600? I would hate to have to make one, and its the only part i am missing....

What F600 or any other Ford truck came with a fender extension? None.

Here's the parts catalog pic of the front fenders and etc. What part are you asking for?

I know of a salvage yard in western IL that has a mostly intact 1964 F600. Last time I saw it, it was only missing the rear axle, and pretty much everything else was there. I don't know if they do any shipping, but they will pull the parts for you and their prices have been very reasonable in the stuff I have bought from them. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful if you call them. The company is 2 and 92 Truck Parts, phone # 309-792-9211. Gary seems to be "the old Ford guy" there, you might ask for him.

edit: Gary's not old, he just seems to know the old Ford stuff, I always end up transferred to him when I call looking for stuff for my '64. I turned 40 a while back so I don't throw around the "old" word as freely as I used to. ;)
