I would exercise horses at the race tack for $10 a ride, but you could ride 4 or 5 an hour. But that's usualy only for about 2 months out of the year.

i start end of next week at my new job, 12.50 hourly, to start, with raises, coming frequently, i know the owner and as i start learning the busniess i will get a raise, as he says the more work i take off of him the more his business can grow and the more im worth, he guaranteed me 60k by the end of the year. When im done with school i have a job starting out salary 92k a year, plus per diem and traveling expensises. So it will come out to more like 110k a year, that will be nice,

Being a tower crane operator is not nearly as easy as it may seem. A wrong twitch in your arm or wrist can KILL alot of people. The views are great though, and if youve got the nerve and the skill for it, i highly suggest it.

its all about being on salary, i spend my day on here and as long as my work gets done no one cares. i work about oh 3 hours a day. but am at work for 8 just doing other stuff like playing on line games.

I work on a dairy farm unloading hay in the summer. September-June I'm a full time student. (which SUCKS)
I make right around the 7/8 an hour area depending on who is doing the math. Sometimes 12 hours is 84$ and sometimes it's 95$. It depends on which guy is writing the check. Plus sometimes I'll get a 10 or 20$ bill thrown my way if it was real bad out when we had to unload. i.e: Being in the mow which is under a tin roof when the temp on the ground is 112. When I got to the bottom of the ladder where it was 112 degrees I was shivvering like crazy.

Salary 120k/Year

PowerStroker? 03-01-2008 09:11 PM

What exactly do you do that you make 120k a year?

My last job starting, I was getting 16/hr fixing school buses with 10 hours of overtime minimum each week which meant 24/hr, they hired me even though I had no experience, unfortunately I found out about a week after I had started that they were waiting for another mechanic to come back. Once he was back, they said see ya later!

Current job is 11/hr, maybe one or two hours overtime at the most.

phatpharm85 03-04-2008 04:50 AM

well i put 17-23 for several reasons. my full time job is $14 an hour with 5 or so hours overtime a week, and my part time job is $9 an hour plus benefits. hopefully in 2 months i'll be in the union and starting at $15 an hour tho.

FORD MEGA CAB!!! 03-07-2008 11:55 PM

I am a truck mechanic and I bring in 28.40 for the first 8 hours and 42.60 overtime an hour afterwards. Not to mention vaction time.

rex4570 03-08-2008 10:10 AM

I work in an IT shop as a developer and make salary plus time and a quarter overtime. Not a bad gig!
