'88 1 ton dump

I have an '88 1 ton dump, snowplow, and (former salt spreader),I have a couple issues to discuss pollution stuff and r.h.exhaust manifold leaking and melting pulg wires.I curious about putting on some type of headers and concerned about the pollution stuff.
The engine seems to run real rough when it warms up,could it be the cat. converter? Any advice or info would be appreciated,BTW I'm a new member and would like to say hello and thanks in advance.

the right side manifold leak is a notorious 460 quirk. Another one is breaking manifold bolts when you try to get it off and fix it. Use penetrating oil and even heating the bolts up if they are stubborn, if they break off it a real pain so try to avoid. Should you get them off and want to replace them with headers they are available and their arent any smog issues that i know of, they probably come with a bung for an o2 sensor if not your exhaust shop can make it happen and you can get a new hi flow cat while youre at it. Is it a 2 wheel drive truck? Do an internet search to find headers or ask a exhaust shop they may be able to help, i know Gale Banks has headers for those years. As for the rough running when cold, doesnt sound like thats only a problem with the cat, probably fuel related but i should let someone else field that question
