Seat Track Bolt Size and Lengths from/to: 3/8"-16 x 1" to 3/8" -16 x 2"

Book doesn't say whether course or fine, so just try one, ifin it doesn't wanna co-operate, try the other. Make sure to grease the threads a bit.

The ones on my 48 are fine threads... :-wink

Get grade 8 bolts nuts and washers! If you are bolting thru the square tubing weld a crush tube thru it where the bolt goes or drill an oversized hole in the top surface so the bolt head drops thru and is tight against the lower wall. I'd expect the bolts are fine thread as they should be.

Kevin, if you don't have a tap & die set, get yourself one. I use mine all the time to chase old rusty threads & bolts. Makes things a lot easier to put back together. They come with a thread gage that I use all the time to figure out the thread pitch and dia when I need new bolts. I just bought a set of seat bolts for my truck, found them at ACE hardware. If you know what thread and dia you're looking for it is much easier. Incidently, AX is right, I always get Grade 8 for anything structural, probably overkill in some cases but it makes me feel good.

found the bolts today at the hardware store. I made the bracket up as well. Tomorrow carpet then bolt it in. I am using the original bolt holes. I just finished painting the new bracket. Now I need to find a center console.
