catalytic converter laws in CT
 
hey,

i am wondering if we need to keep our cats in CT for emmisions testing or we can just put a delete pipe,

must have a cat if the truck came with one mine ran away but shows up with its testin time

Federal law requires you keep it on there if it came with one from the factory...

if your gvwr is over 10,000 lbs you are exempt from diesel emissions testing

it is a ford f-250 crew cab 8 foot bed diesel, is it able to be tested?

yes, you have to bring it through emissions. I have a staight piped exhaust with stacks in my 2002 f-350, they plugged the emissions tester into my computer port and it passed no problem chip and all.

After 25yrs no more emmissions. Do what you like after that. :)
