Can someone help me identify what these hubcaps belong to?

I found a set of 4 that look exactly like this in my grandfathers garage.

Thanks

Great looking truck! What size is your wheel/tire combo? Also, what drop did you use?

Quick69 08-22-2010 05:16 PM

Tony, Love the truck. I have been searching for some ideas for a 68 that Im about to buy and you just totally put me in the zone. Cant wait to get mine to the hight of yours. I will be runnin without bags for a while to. But, I still want the stance that your truck has, even if I never get bags at all. Is the ride still smooth at that level?

choochoof150 10-08-2010 05:17 PM

My rims are 20x9 front and back. Tires are General exclaim uhp's 235/30 front and 265/50 out back.

lucky_strike 10-09-2010 12:20 PM

is it hard lowering the trucks with the twin I beam, id really like to lower mine but so far the shops that ive called said they done do it.

carpenter547 10-09-2010 12:22 PM

depends

lowering difficulty depends on your desired drop and your budget.

looks good...what does 1/2 flip on rear mean?

Quick69 11-03-2010 02:42 PM

it means you flip the front hangers of the leaf springs upside down

tgowers, your truck sits perfectly. i have been on the fence on how to lower my 65. so i joined this site just to ask you a few questions if you dont mind. first, what model lincolin did you use? it looked as though it was the same width right? was the bolt pattern the same for the wheels or di you drill out the disks? thanks and again good job on the truck!

tgowers 11-24-2010 07:59 AM

71 lincoln continental. it worked out to be the perfect width. the bolt pattern is different, so i just ran the stock lincoln wheels up front. There was a ton of fab work, but you can look through my pictures and see a lot. the steering box from the lincoln won't work, i used a rack from a taurus. had to notch the front crossmember to allow the oil pan to clear. had to use a summit oil filter relocater to mount the oil filter to the core support. used the stock licoln disc brakes up front with the stock truck drums out back. wildwood proportioning valve to dial doan the rear brakes to allow full pressure to the discs.... and a residual valve in the rear line to keep the drums from draining off. fab new motor mounts. have a look at the picks, and then let me know any other questions.

1971 F100 Lowered with beams in front rear hangers and shackles. 390 C-6 all original paint. More plans for theengine and suspension. I think I'll leave the paint because of the pantina'd look.

I'm guessing your talking about this one. Someone just did some body work on the hood to make it look like that. It's one of those subtle changes that you don't notice right away. Looks cool.

Great trucks guys!!! Lots of fleets any body out there got any flaresides?

jsutton 04-08-2011 12:59 AM

Lucky Strike look at the first pic at how high the bed floor is raised. You don't have to raise the whole floor like that, most people just cut out in the area across the bed floor where the step notches are that allow the frame to sit down over the axle.

lucky_strike 04-09-2011 10:11 AM

gotcha, ive never seen that done before, i like the look of that.

I like the looks of the whole floor being raised better than seeing that ugliness of notching it.... IMO
