the front frame section is from a 71 llincoln.... the rear frame section is c-notched... and the tires are bias-ply wide whites they are called candy classics. thanks, and i am glad you like it. check out my gallery.

Its just opinion, but I think it looks disproportioned when it’s THAT low.

how did you get it that low wondering i have 70 f100 and am looking at 3 drop i beams and 2 coils but wondering the rim size i can use for front width wise

if you want to go as low as mine you can't do it with beams.... my buddy and i used a 1971 lincoln front frame section from the firewall forward. the rear is c-notched. the lincoln front suspension is all stock... the control arms are stock, the shocks are stock, the disc brakes are stock, the sway bar is stock... the only thing that is not stock are the front springs... my buddy had an extra set of g-body buick springs that were the exact same size as the stock lincoln springs, so we put them in...they were free. good luck. look at my gallery and you can see a bunch of pictures.

I know that a purist would hate this, but I put a Chevy frame clip on mine, I'm about $110.00 deep with a rolling truck, centerline of wheels are at the bottom of door (It is currently a rolling chassis with cab), so when the 460 and front sheetmetal is added it ought to look real good. This clip netted me IFS, power steering, disc brakes, and is allowing me to get that 17" steering wheel out of my gut.

i have a 1972 ford f100 long bed and i want to lower it im going to shackle the back or put the spring under the rear axle but im not sure what to do on the front. the truck has twin i beam front suspenion can i cut the springs. i want to slame it and still be able to turn the wheels.

hey 72fordlb... you need to prepare yourself for the work ahead of you if want to slam one of these twin i-beam fords. There is no easy way to do it. there is no real bolt on kit to slam one of these. There have been guys on here that used drop beams, but there is some notching of the crossmember to get it down low. there are guys on here that are using crown vic clips. i used a 71 lincoln clip, but it was a lot of fabrication. if you cut the springs you will have a camber issue and there is not a lot of room between the frame rails and the top of the beams. for the rear just flip the axle and use a lowering block. good luck.
