Bed Liners

Anyone in here know a good place to get a spray in bed liner and a tonnaeu cover for a reasonable price? I have been to rhino liners and they are a little over priced. Any ideas??

apply it yourself with a roller. There are many kits for about $100 that are excellent.

There is a Line-x shop in Dover. Their price is $480.00. This seems to be the choice if you check for liners in the FTE threads. Shame it costs as much as it does.

my pro-tec liner ran 380...i got my leer tonno cover at top city...i've had it for quite a while so i dont remember the price

About 400 for a fullsize truck is average I looked around before I had mine done. There is a Line X over off Ogletown road in Newark across from Avon. I had mine done at Rhino because the Line X place wasnt open on saturdays to get it done then or check on a price in person

Let me know if you find a shop that will do it for cheap.
I'm considering taking out all my carpeting in my Bronco and having the entire floor Line-X-ed.
No More Stains, and I can hose it out!

I had line-x installed 2 months after I picked up the truck. It was the best investment I ever made. I did cut it once moving an air handler for a friend. Took it to the shop and fixed in no time. I like line-x because you can go to any dealer for repair, nationwide. That is not true of Rhino and others. I have a RollBak cover and I would not recommend it to anyone. My vote is line-x. If you are looking at soft covers I cannot help. Hard covers let me know if that is what you are looking for, I have a few sources of personal info and my own research.

I couldn't think of the brand I used on my friend's truck, but I just remembered it - durabak.com

It's as tough as the line-x installation and was about $100 plus shipping, and offers a textured, rubbery surface that gives a little rather than tears, just like the Line-X.

And it comes in many, many colors to contrast or reasonably match your truck if that's important to you. Roll it on.

My friend hauls around transmissions... so it gets abused a bit as well.

I used hammer-finish rustoleum and just paint it every spring.

A Line-x spray-job is on my short-list, but I have only found two prices $460.00(Salisbury,Md), and $480.00(Dover). The Linex-X folks say they need the truck overnight, sanding, masking, spraying, and cleaning up, kind of a drag if it is too far away from home. Please let us know what you end up going with, and the price, and location details......By the way, adding color to the job, runs the price up by 50%. It is painted to add the color, as the base material will change color over a period of time, unless it is black. I had originally wanted to make the bed match the interior color, but not now.

I had mine done in Dover (South Little Creek Rd.?) and waited an hour and a half to two hours for them to do it. I would've gone to Top City in Dover but they wanted to keep it overnight. They do some other brand and it was a little cheaper than the Line-X.

Who did that job Garrity? I would like to check them out.....!.

f250meangreen 04-05-2007 08:24 PM

I had mine done in Salisbury. Dropped it off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. I don't see why you could not take it to them and hang out. It only takes a couple of hours. I just left mine until the end of the day since I work down the road.

BigBlueMacDaddy 04-05-2007 09:04 PM

That's strange! It WAS the one in Salisbury that told me I had to leave it overnight! How satisfied were you with their work? Well, I hope.......

f250meangreen 04-06-2007 06:27 AM

I think they did a good job. I wanted them to pull the bed bolts out but they won't do that. They do pull the panel on the tailgate off though. That way if you have to work on the latch you don't have to cut through the liner. They fixed the cut that I got in about an hour. I don't know if they changed now but let me know how it goes.
