JetA
Is there a big difference between Diesel and JetA?
|
Welcome to the forum.
Jet A is a similar kerosene type of fuel, produced to an ASTM specification and normally only available in the U.S.A. It has the same flash point as Jet A-1 but a higher freeze point maximum (-40°C). It is supplied against the ASTM D1655 (Jet A) specification. Yep, alot |
Can I add anything to JetA to use in a diesel engine? We through out over 50 gallons every time we sump an aircraft.

I think you should be able to cut 50/50 with reg diesel. Add a lubricant. Kero has lil or no lube properties. Kinda like the new low sulfer fuel we are all being scammed at the pump on.

Cut it 50 - 50 with BD and no lube supplement needed
