Headrests
I've asked a similar question before but I think i worded it incorrectly to recieve the desired response. I need headrests on my front two seats (driver and passenger). What's the best way about getting this? New seats? Custom addition of headrests? I'm looking for the cheapest way, not really for looks. I'm scared to death to think of what my head would do in a rear-end accident or a nasty off-roading encounter. I've been looking for new seats but I have no welding knowledge and want to do a seat conversion safely. Any suggestions or comments would be great. Thanks.

Probably the cheapest fix is to go to the junkyard and get some high back seats from a Bronco or Explorer, etc. If you can use a drill, you can install them. No real good way to add headrests to existing seats.

I agree. Your best bet is to find some used seats with head rests on them, and install those in place of your low-back seats.

yeah i guess that's a good idea. Any recomendations as to what years had high seats? Maybe from an F-150 or something? Thanks again.

On a related topic, does anyone know if seats from the 92-96 Bronco's will bolt into earlier models (1990, in my case) without bracket modifications?

I DONT KNOW WHAT YEAR YOU HAVE BUT I INSTALLED SEATS FROM A 85 EB IN MY 78 BRONCO USING THE 78 TRACKS WITH ONLY MINOR MODIFACATIONS
