Gps

I recently purchased a Garman 530 GPS. This thing is great. No matter what town I am in this thing will get you any place you enter into it.
Does anyone else use one of these?

Good to hear Larry. I was looking at that same model. My wife is constantly lost, and the sales guy at Best Buy recommended the Garmin.

The only time I've ever used one of those was in a Hertz rental car, it was pretty handy.

My wife really wants one, so I am sure we'll get one sooner or later.

Rob,
This is the one to get. I have found nothing negative about it. It is well worth the cost.

I was able to get a smoking deal on a Magellen GPS from a guy here at work. He won it at a convention, but didn't want it. It retails for about $700, but he sold it to me for $400. It works pretty good, I'm still playing with it. I can download lakes on it for the boat, so that will be nice for when we go to Branson.

Pat,
You got a heck of a deal.
I use mine all the time.

It's pretty cool, I'm still trying to figure out everything it does!

I haven't found a thing that it doesn't do!

Has anyone ran into problems getting the GPS covered on their insurance?
I am having a hassle with State Farm.

I have State Farm... I thought there was a personal property coverage clause in the auto policy for stuff like that.

My agent told me they are not covering GPS units that way. You can use your homeowners insurance. But you have to pay the deductable. Mine is $500.00.
