<HR style="COLOR: #666666" SIZE=1><TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top width="100%">Every time I get out of this truck it shocks me upon touching the metal to close the door.

I also have a 1999 F-150 and it does the same thing. What is going on? Anyone ever had this happen to them and how did you resolve the problem.

It's due to the static electricity that builds up when you slide off the seat. It's happened to me on every vehicle I have ever drove or rode in.

Try holding onto the metal part of the door while getting out, or just learn to live with it.
