This whole flooding thing
Anybody catch teh news report tonight, sounds like this might be the worst year since 48. if it is, hopefully it will show them they should have kept up dredging and building up the walls all these years eh?

Wheres that your talking about Joe?
they figure most of the Fraser Valley, chilliwack aggasiz, sumas prairie, i think pretty much all the way too Vancouver
Oh wow never heard about it! I hope my house in agassiz doesnt get flooded lol
never know, better start stockpiling sand just in case eh?
Naw, that would involve work!
I don't think its all gonna flood, well unless those sea walls collapse
Our ski hill has a BASE of 460 cm. I am glad I did not buy on the flats.
Speaking of flooding I think we may have some here this spring. Lots of snow on the ground and probably more in the mountains. Could be a very wet spring.
only thing i've got to worry about flooding is the shop, which, not so oddly, concerns me more than the house. if it flooded here like it did in 48, we might just be high enough, just barely, but my neighbour upriver has all his chicken ***** piled outside, feller never spread it in the fall........ it will definetly be interesting to wait and see, stories from my Grandpa of 48 are pretty frightening.
I live pretty close to the fraser, theres always a possibility of flooding, to that I say oh well! lol
sleep in a dingy. Here in Quesnel every year they have to block off a road because it gets swamped by the Quesnel river right where the Quesnel and Fraser rivers join. The Quesnel river is just as big as the fraser....and its not brown.
I think we may have our highway closed if some of the ice jams don't let go before it really starts to warm up.
